Acceclomax-MR Tablet works by combining the effects of Aceclofenac and Paracetamol. Aceclofenac reduces pain and inflammation by inhibiting the production of chemical messengers called prostaglandins. Paracetamol helps in reducing fever and enhances pain relief.

Scientifically, Aceclofenac is a non-selective COX inhibitor, which blocks the cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes involved in the synthesis of prostaglandins. Paracetamol works centrally in the brain to block the production of prostaglandins and also acts on the hypothalamus to regulate body temperature.
