Acifon Plus works by combining the effects of Aceclofenac and Paracetamol. Aceclofenac is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that reduces pain and inflammation by blocking the production of certain chemical messengers in the body. Paracetamol acts as an analgesic and antipyretic, reducing pain and fever.

Scientifically, Aceclofenac inhibits the enzyme cyclooxygenase (COX), which is involved in the synthesis of prostaglandins, compounds that mediate inflammation and pain. Paracetamol works centrally in the brain to inhibit the synthesis of prostaglandins, thereby reducing pain and fever.
