Scientifically, Aceclofenac inhibits the enzyme cyclooxygenase (COX), which is involved in the synthesis of prostaglandins, substances that mediate inflammation and pain. Paracetamol works centrally in the brain to inhibit the synthesis of prostaglandins, providing an analgesic effect.
