The Asirest-MR Tablet works by combining two active ingredients: Aceclofenac and Paracetamol. Aceclofenac is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that reduces pain and inflammation by blocking the production of certain chemical messengers in the body. Paracetamol, also known as acetaminophen, works by inhibiting the production of prostaglandins in the brain, which helps to reduce pain and fever.

Scientifically, Aceclofenac inhibits the cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes, which are involved in the synthesis of prostaglandins, leading to reduced inflammation and pain. Paracetamol acts centrally in the brain to block the production of prostaglandins, providing analgesic and antipyretic effects without significant anti-inflammatory activity.
