Astofen-P Tablet works by combining the effects of Aceclofenac and Paracetamol. Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that reduces pain and inflammation. Paracetamol is an analgesic and antipyretic that helps relieve pain and reduce fever.

Scientifically, Aceclofenac works by inhibiting the enzyme cyclooxygenase (COX), which is involved in the production of prostaglandins, substances that mediate inflammation and pain. Paracetamol works centrally in the brain to block pain signals and reduce fever by acting on the hypothalamic heat-regulating center.
