Off-label Uses

Axcel Plus Tablet works by combining the effects of Aceclofenac and Paracetamol. Aceclofenac is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that reduces pain and inflammation by blocking the action of cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes, which are involved in the production of prostaglandins. Paracetamol, on the other hand, works by inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandins in the brain, which helps reduce pain and fever.

Scientifically, Aceclofenac inhibits COX-1 and COX-2 enzymes, reducing the synthesis of inflammatory mediators like prostaglandins. Paracetamol acts centrally in the brain to block the production of prostaglandins, providing analgesic and antipyretic effects without significant anti-inflammatory activity.
