Zeloxa-TZ Suspension works by combining the effects of two active ingredients: Ofloxacin and Tinidazole. Ofloxacin is an antibiotic that kills bacteria by preventing them from reproducing. Tinidazole is an antiprotozoal agent that works by damaging the DNA of protozoa, leading to their death.

Scientifically, Ofloxacin is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic that inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, enzymes crucial for bacterial DNA replication. Tinidazole, on the other hand, is a nitroimidazole that undergoes reduction to form reactive intermediates that disrupt protozoal DNA synthesis, leading to cell death.
