Formoterol helps to relax and open the air passages in the lungs, making it easier to breathe. Budesonide reduces inflammation and swelling in the airways, preventing asthma attacks and COPD exacerbations.

Formoterol acts on beta-2 adrenergic receptors in the lungs, leading to muscle relaxation and bronchodilation. Budesonide works by inhibiting multiple inflammatory cytokines, reducing inflammation and immune response in the airways.
