Scientifically, Paracetamol acts centrally in the brain to inhibit cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes, which play a role in pain and fever. Aceclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), inhibits COX enzymes in peripheral tissues, reducing the synthesis of prostaglandins, which are mediators of inflammation and pain.
