Acerav P Oral Suspension is a combination medicine containing Paracetamol and Aceclofenac. Acerav P Oral Suspension works by combining the effects of Paracetamol and Aceclofenac. Paracetamol works centrally in the brain to reduce pain and fever, while Aceclofenac reduces inflammation and pain by inhibiting the production of certain chemical messengers in the body.

Scientifically, Paracetamol inhibits the synthesis of prostaglandins in the central nervous system and works peripherally to block pain impulse generation. Aceclofenac is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that inhibits cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes, leading to decreased formation of prostaglandins, which are mediators of inflammation and pain.
