Ravdase AP Syrup

Ravdase AP Syrup is a combination medication used to relieve pain and reduce inflammation. It contains two active ingredients: Paracetamol, which is a common pain reliever and fever reducer, and Aceclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that helps reduce inflammation and pain. This syrup is typically prescribed for conditions such as headaches, muscle pain, dental pain, and arthritis. It is suitable for both adults and children, but it should be used under medical supervision, especially in children and elderly patients.

Ravdase AP Syrup works by combining the effects of Paracetamol and Aceclofenac. Paracetamol helps to reduce pain and fever by blocking the production of certain chemicals in the brain that cause pain and fever. Aceclofenac works by inhibiting the enzymes that produce prostaglandins, which are responsible for inflammation, pain, and swelling.

Scientifically, Paracetamol acts centrally by inhibiting the cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes in the brain, which are involved in the synthesis of prostaglandins. Aceclofenac, on the other hand, is a non-selective COX inhibitor that reduces the synthesis of prostaglandins by blocking COX-1 and COX-2 enzymes, thereby providing anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects.

Shake the bottle well before use.
